Along with soothing and balancing the scalp, it stimulates hair growth, reduces inflammation, and leaves hair feeling smooth and nourished.

Benefits of Aloe Vera ACV Scalp Mask

  • Soothes and balances the scalp
  • Combats dandruff and scalp conditions (seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis)
  • Stimulates hair growth and promotes smoother hair
  • Reduces inflammation and irritation

How to Make and Use the Aloe Vera ACV Scalp Mask

Ingredients

  • Aloe vera gel (from fresh aloe plant or organic aloe gel)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (ACV)
  • 1 tbsp cold-pressed hemp, avocado, or olive oil (optional for dry scalps)
  • 2-3 tbsp Bhringraj oil (optional)
  • Water (if needed)

Preparation

  1. Cut aloe vera in half and scrape the gel into a bowl. You should have a translucent, lumpy gel.
  2. Add the aloe vera gel and apple cider vinegar into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. If your scalp is very dry, add a tablespoon of oil.
  3. Pour the mixture into a mason jar for storage.

Application

  1. Wet your hair in the shower, then pat dry and brush.
  2. Apply the mask to your scalp by sectioning your hair, ensuring even distribution. Massaging it into the scalp will help absorb the nutrients.
  3. Remove any excess liquid, brush through your hair, and tie it up into a bun.
  4. Let the mask sit for as long as possible—overnight is ideal. Rinse out and wash your hair as usual.

NOTE: For itchy, inflamed scalps, use non-toxic, fragrance-free shampoos and conditioners. Adding peppermint or tea tree oil can enhance antibacterial properties and provide a cooling effect.

TIP: Since apple cider vinegar has a strong scent, apply the mask when you’re at home for a few hours or overnight, especially before washing your hair.
